Summer Adventures

We try to spend every Wednesday in some kind of adventure with our cousins, Bethany, Bryn, Lindy, MaryJane, and Kate. (We call them "the girls") Their mom, Angie, comes too. Here's a rundown of June 2009.
  1. Swimming at Grammy's house. Always a good adventure.
  2. Playing at Quail Lake. The beach was a little rocky, but we had fun digging, eating, throwing the football, swimming and shooting water guns.
  3. Squeezy rock hike. the picture of Logan is not the actual squeeezy rock. Lena and MaryJane are pictured together at the start of the hike. After getting through the tight hike and playing on the red rocks we headed to Costco for delicious pizza and frozen yogurt.
  4. Lastly we got on bikes and rode to the Hurricane Library and then to the famous snowcaps for spongebob sno-cones or if you're me grapefruit is the only way to go. Even Ziggy the dog and our friend Natalie from SLC got to go on this adventure.

MICHIGAN

It was girls weekend in Michigan for Mother's day this year! It's our first and hopefully not our last.

We saw thousands of tulips in Holland and ate some cool Dutch food.
We wrapped up that day with a visit to Lake Michigan. I insisted on waking Lena up to see it. That was a mistake, but we got the view all to ourselves thanks to her.

Carrie, Leslie, and Mom went to the opera and saw downtown Detroit. Meanwhile back at the pad Lena and Eduardo had a party of there own. Mac and cheese and coloring books! (Who needs the opera?)

Lena also had her first teeth cleaning in Ann Arbor. It's a bonus when your Aunt isn't just an Aunt. Who knew she could clean your teeth too?

What a great trip!! Carrie kept us busy, and Eduardo kept our belly's full!
